in Salvation

Faith plus...nothing--that's all you need for salvation. Here's today's Bible Minute.

Faith plus nothing is what's required for salvation. When the Philippian Jailer asked, "What must I do to be saved?" Paul told him, "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved." Nothing more. Nothing less. The rich young ruler came to Jesus with the same basic question, "What must I do to inherit eternal life"?

You know, it's just human to think that the only way to get to heaven is to do something that pleases God. But the Bible says something exactly opposite of that. It's not what you do that's important. It's what the Lord has done for you. So, salvation comes by our believing in Jesus--believing that what He did at Calvary is all that God required to pay the penalty for our sin.

It's not what you do; it's what Jesus did for you. To find out more, visit us at
