Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal.

Family Quest

Find a safe, comfortable, spot in your house. Sit or stand about three feet behind your child. Then have her close her eyes, cross her hands across her waist, and fall directly into your arms. This act of trust may come hard even to a young child.

Talk It Out

· Was it hard to just drop without bracing your fall? How did you feel?

· Is it easy to trust? Why or why not?

· What are some of the things about God that make Him trustworthy?

Parent-Child Connection

Some kids are more trusting than others. This quick exercise can tell you a lot about how your child sees the world. You can now shape your conversations with this new information. This is an opportunity to help your child begin to see God as the One who is trustworthy in all situations.

Talk to God

As you pray, encourage your child to (1) thank Jesus for being so big and mighty and (2) ask the Lord to help him appreciate what He has done for him.
